Learn and play from home—museum-style! Preschoolers and their adults can now join us online for our popular Little Wonders program, featuring stories, hands-on activities, and more. This month we will explore some amazing shapes in nature, from swirls to spheres to stars. 


Little Wonders July kit

Little Wonders activity kits: Need a little help gathering the materials for this month's Little Wonders? A limited supply of activity kits will be available for pick-up at the museum starting Thursday, July 15. Kits are $5 each; MNCH members are entitled to two free kits each month; discounted kits are available to Oregon Trail or other EBT card holders. Kits are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Pick up your kit Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Friday through Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.* You can also have your kits mailed to you by completing our online request form

This month's live, virtual storytime is on Friday, July 16 at 10:30 a.m. If you missed it, we recommend checking out Joyce Sidman's book Swirl by Swirl: Spirals in Nature from your local library. 

You can register register now for next month’s storytime, taking place Friday, August 20 at 10:30 a.m., when we will discover ancient animals!
