Jewelry and barware

Barware and Jewelry

From beer chemistry to Boutique Academia, come see what we’ve got in the museum store this Valentine’s season! Cognitive Surplus’ popular science drinking glasses are back, along with their new scentless candles that can be washed and used as drink tumblers once the wax has burned away. Or, if jewelry is more your fancy, we have a beautiful selection crafted by local artists such as Brooke Spehar, Patti Lomont, Kate White Horse, and Boutique Academia’s UO Alumni Malie Urbancic.

New Store Products

Come see what’s new! It may be Valentine’s Day and Darwin’s birthday, but that doesn’t mean that’s all our museum store has to offer! If you’re looking for a gift for any occasion, why not come check out the mugs, artwork, or accessories designed by the Indigenous artists of Native Northwest? Dive in deep with books and journals inspired by our Underwater Forests exhibit, and don’t forget “Mylo,” our fabulous Giant Sloth plush courtesy of the Western Science Center!

Everyone loves a good card, regardless of the time of year! During our Love Science event we’ll have plenty to choose from, including unique prints by local scientific illustrator Erika Beyer or papercrafter Mary Smith. We also carry prints by Native Northwest, Cognitive Surplus, and even Ray Troll (the artist behind our popular fossil map)! Or, if you need a bit more space to draft your love letters this year, make sure to check out our selection of science journals and notebooks - you’re sure to find one that’s just the right shape, size, or scientific discipline.
