A PaleoArt Workshop with Ray Troll

Join renowned artist Ray Troll and museum paleontologist Edward Davis for a fun-filled evening of science and art! You'll dive into the natural history of Oregon's colossal spike-toothed salmon, learn about Ray's artistic process during a live drawing session, then draw your own spike-toothed salmon as Edward and Ray answer your questions.  

The cost to participate is $5. MNCH members and Oregon Trail/EBT card holders can register for free!

The workshop will be hosted on Zoom and participants will receive a link after they register. Questions? Email lmw@uoregon.edu. 

Participants must supply their own materials. Ray Troll uses the following products and recommends them for the workshop: 

• Canson Mi-Teintes Drawing Paper (in black) can be purchased online at Blick Art Supplies and is also available at the University of Oregon Duck Store. 
• Neocolor II Artists' Crayons can also be purchased at Blick Art Supplies or through the UO Duck Store. 

You're also welcome to use whatever art supplies you already have, or to join the presentation but not draw along.
