Bring your youth group to the museum this summer. Choose from four different programs that will inspire wonder about our natural and cultural worlds.

Natural Athletes

60 minutes
Investigate ecosystems and learn how animals adapt to changing environments. Tour through the new Natural Athletes exhibit to see what animals are best adapted to running, throwing, and jumping!

Be a paleontologist for a day! Identify mysterious creatures by piecing together clues found throughout the Explore Oregon exhibit.

Examine artifacts and oral histories—and reconstruct a moment in Oregon’s history! Explore the Oregon - Where Past is Present exhibit to help build the scene and learn about Native Americans in Oregon.


45-60 minutes
Create your own adventure! Explore the museum at your own pace. We just ask that groups have a 1:6 ratio of chaperones to youths. 

Here's what you need to know:
  • Cost: $4 for youths and $6 for adults. A 20 percent discount is available for pre-registered groups.

  • Please submit your program request at least two weeks prior to your requested date.

  • Each program is limited to 35 youths; groups of 16 or more will be split into two smaller groups.
  • Only one program can run at a time, however we can schedule groups back-to-back on the same day.
  • Programs are available Tuesdays through Fridays between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
