We offer free admission every day for children 2 and under; MNCH members; UO students, faculty, staff*; and veterans and active-duty military* personnel.
We're a proud member of Museums for All, a national program offering reduced admission to Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) cardholders. Present your Oregon Trail or other EBT card and your admission is $1 per person or $5 per family (up to two adults and four children).
Museums for all is an initiative of the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
We offer free admission on first Fridays! Bring your friends, family, and out-of-town visitors for a unique journey across Oregon's past, present, and future. Free First Friday happens from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the first Friday of the month, with a guided 2PM Walk & Talk included with your free admission.
From Armed Forces Day through Labor Day, military families (with ID) are admitted for free through the Blue Star Museums program.
Enjoy free admission for two adults and up to four youths! We're proud to partner with Lane County libraries to offer free family admission passes to the museum, available for checkout from from the following libraries and branches:
- Cottage Grove Library
- Creswell Public Library
- Eugene Public Library (Downtown, Bethel, and Sheldon branches)
- Fern Ridge Public Library Springfield Public Library
Special Monday hours: The museum will be open with FREE admission in honor of Indigenous Peoples' Day! Come celebrate 14,000 years of Native culture in Oregon—from the First Americans at Paisley Caves to the dynamic cultures of today's Tribes.
