Summer Camps for BIPOC Youth in Grades 6 through 8
The NEAT camps are full for summer 2021 and registration is now closed.
The Museum of Natural and Cultural History partners with Beyond Toxics and Eugene Springfield NAACP to offer three, weeklong summer adventures celebrating the natural wonder of the Willamette Valley.
From hunting for bugs to exploring Tribal knowledge to creating our own nature illustrations, the adventures will inspire scientific curiosity and help build new connections with each other and our shared environment. NEAT camps are free of charge and open to all grade 6-8 Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) youths as well other youths traditionally underserved by environmental education programs.
Space is limited and pre-registration is required. Visit Beyond Toxics to register and learn more.
