WORKSHOPS
OFN is able to develop a variety of workshops to serve your community. Contact us about fees and potential funding.
COLLABORATIONS
Project-long collaborations with OFN typically last months or years and can be designed together with your needs at the focus. We train your staff with professional skills or diversify your programming with folk and traditional artists. Funding models include fee for service or co-authorship of grants.
FUNDING FOR STAFF FOLKLORISTS
OFN helps regional arts and culture programs secure professional folklorist positions through grantwriting. Both Four Rivers Cultural Center and the High Desert Museum have been able to hire staff folklorists with help from OFN.
FOLKLIFE FIELD SCHOOLS
OFN’s folklife field schools are available to Tribes and communities across the state and can be tailored to participants' goals. From a one-week summer session bearing college credit to a day-long intensive for continuing education units, our field schools serve youths, community volunteers, teachers, and professionals from a variety of allied fields.
