We are excited to introduce the 2023 Traditional Artist Apprenticeship Program (TAAP) awardee cohort. Each of these recipients is a master in their art form and plays a key role in transmitting living traditions to promising apprentices who share the same cultural heritage.

The museum is located on Kalapuya ilihi, the traditional homeland of the Kalapuya people, many of whom are now citizens of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde and the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians.
